Supply data backed by governments
We cross-check supply figures against national records, export data, and seasonal production numbers, through partnerships with trade and agriculture ministries in the markets we work in.
Trusted African commodity trade
Commodity Plus connects international buyers with trusted farm and mineral suppliers, all in one place. Contracts follow international quality standards, independent inspectors check quality at every step, and payment is released in stages as each one is confirmed.
How it works
Say what you want: the commodity, grade, quantity, delivery dates, price range, and preferred origin — all against recognised quality standards. Send it to every verified supplier, or just to ones you've pre-approved.
Verified suppliers reply with their price, how much they can supply, and when they can deliver. Each offer comes with a track record we've verified: orders completed, volumes delivered, quality ratings from independent inspectors, and any past disputes.
Contracts start from ready-made templates for each commodity, with benchmark-based pricing and a guided tool for delivery terms (Incoterms). Choose a fixed or floating price. Every change and counter-offer is tracked, and both sides sign digitally.
Inspectors check quality at the farm, at collection, at the warehouse, and before shipping, using checklists built around the right grading standard. Every certificate is GPS-tagged, backed by photos, and time-stamped — and can't be edited once issued.
Payments are released as each step is confirmed — inspection passed, goods received at the warehouse, shipping documents presented. Money only moves once the proof is in. Letters of credit are available for larger deals.
Inspection certificates, plant-health documents, certificates of origin, shipping documents, and customs paperwork are all kept in one permanent record, linked to each contract — ready for compliance checks, audits, and importing.
What sets us apart
We work directly with governments, suppliers, independent inspectors, and lenders to build trade you can actually trust across African commodity markets.
We cross-check supply figures against national records, export data, and seasonal production numbers, through partnerships with trade and agriculture ministries in the markets we work in.
Supplier profiles are built from verified trade data: orders completed, volumes delivered, quality ratings from independent inspectors, on-time delivery, and how disputes turned out. Track records are earned, not self-declared.
Inspectors are trained to international grading standards and assigned automatically at each stage of the contract. Every certificate is specific to the commodity, digitally signed, and stored permanently.
Suppliers can apply for finance against confirmed orders. Applications draw on verified trading history, farmer network size, and inspection records — helping partner lenders make faster decisions.
For minerals, a full trail from mine to export. Tag numbers, independent lab results, responsible-sourcing records, and EU conflict-minerals paperwork, all in one checkable trail.
Seasonal harvest calendars, weather updates, rule changes, export restriction notices, and benchmark price moves — all put in the context of each origin market.

Anyone can search the directory by commodity, country, grade, certification, and available volume. Each supplier profile shows their verified capacity, inspection history, and certifications.

ICO for coffee, UNECE for fresh produce, Codex Alimentarius for food safety, EAS for East African trade. They're used directly in contracts, inspection checklists, and quality details, and kept up to date with national standards bodies.
What we cover
Coffee, sesame, cocoa, tea, vanilla, pulses, oilseeds, fresh produce, dried fruits, spices, and grains. Graded to ICO, SCA, UNECE, and Codex standards, with plant-health certificates handled alongside national agriculture ministries — from gathering smallholder supply all the way to container export.
Agricultural commoditiesTin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, cobalt, copper, coltan, manganese, and lithium. LME benchmark pricing, independent lab testing, and registered mine sites checked as conflict-free — with a full trail from mine to export and responsible-sourcing records.
Mineral commoditiesCompliance made easy
One place for every rule, every document, and every check. EUDR deforestation maps, compliance documents tied to your farms, responsible-sourcing and conflict-minerals records for minerals, certifications with expiry tracking, and upcoming laws like CSDDD and UK Schedule 17 flagged well before their deadlines.
Create an EUDR compliance document for each shipment, map your farms to the level the EU requires, and keep every certificate, declaration, and lab result in one place. The rules that apply to you — EUDR, responsible sourcing, conflict minerals, LBMA, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, GLOBALG.A.P., and upcoming laws like CSDDD — appear automatically, based on what you sell and where.
Compliance for exportersGet a verified compliance document for every shipment, a clear read on how ready each supplier is, and all the evidence behind it with expiry dates in view. It's the same proof your suppliers build on their side — farm locations checked for EUDR, documents dated, certifications tracked, audit-ready by default.
