Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms govern your use of the Commodity Plus platform. By creating an account or using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these terms.

This is a placeholder. Final terms are being prepared with counsel and will replace this text before general availability. The sections below describe the platform's intended operating rules in plain language so early users can review them.

Account eligibility

Accounts are issued to natural persons acting on behalf of a real organisation. Organisations must complete verification before participating in commercial activity (responding to demand, receiving payments, issuing certificates).

Permitted use

  • Publishing accurate information about your organisation, your commodity capabilities, and your verification documents.
  • Submitting offers, accepting orders, and exchanging messages with verified counterparties through the platform's tools.
  • Using academy content for your own learning. Redistribution of academy content outside the platform requires written permission.

Prohibited use

  • Misrepresenting your identity, your organisation, or any commodity origin or quality.
  • Circumventing platform fees on transactions initiated through the platform.
  • Attempting to access data that does not belong to your tenant or scraping the platform.
  • Any use that violates sanctions, anti-money-laundering, or export-control regulations applicable to a transaction.

Transactions between users

Commodity Plus facilitates introductions and provides tooling (structured requests, opportunity calculators, contracts library) but is not a party to commercial agreements between users. Counterparties remain responsible for their own diligence, contracting, settlement, and dispute resolution unless a specific service explicitly states otherwise.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, fail verification, or are flagged by sanctions screening. We retain the right to remove content that misrepresents commodity provenance or quality.

Liability

The platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Commodity Plus is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from transactions between users.

Changes

We will give 30 days' notice before any material change to these terms.
